Conversation as the Next Interface

We've been communicating, collaborating, and creating through conversation since the dawn of civilization. It was a simpler time when the interface was purely human-to-human conversation.

The Birth of Machines and New Interfaces

Then came the industrial revolution and, with it, the birth of machines. These mechanical marvels, with their buttons, switches, levers, and pulleys, introduced us to a new way of interacting with the world. We may not fully understand the intricacies of these systems, but damn, they allowed us to do so much more!

Virtualizing the Physical World

Fast forward to the digital revolution. We took the physical systems we were familiar with and recreated them in the virtual world. Buttons, switches, and levers were no longer tangible objects but digital representations on a screen. Click, click, click - the sound of progress.

Touch screens arrived, and the technological barrier between us and the objects we wanted to manipulate was thinner. There was a lot of magic behind the scenes, but we didn't have to deal with that complexity as users. It just worked.

Converging the Past and Future of Communication

Now, we're in the era of AI, and the interface of choice? A chatbot. A conversation. It's like we've come full circle, back to the days before the industrial revolution. We're conversing with machines, collaborating on larger projects, and creating new possibilities. We may not fully grasp how it all works, but we're doing a lot more, and that's exciting!
