Apple Vision Pro: "Uh oh."

"Uh oh" is the first thought that popped into my head after donning the Apple Vision Pro. It delivers the promise science fiction describes. It's imperfect, but the issues are minor compared to the society-changing experience.

Slipping on the goggles is a seamless integration with your surroundings. There are moments you will forget you are wearing it. Yeah, it's a device you wear. Yes, you can feel the weight. The same can be said of wearing a wristwatch.

The Vision Pro ensures a smooth re-entry into the physical world when slipping the goggles off. There's a brief adjustment as the rim of the goggles passes your eyes, but then you're back — present in the same environment. It's subtle, like taking off a pair of sunglasses. That's fantastic.

The first iPhone looks hilariously quaint 10 years after its launch. If the first Vision Pro is hilariously quaint in 10 years, we are in for a wild, society-changing ride.
